We recently had a party for our youngest child, Kasey, to celebrate her graduation and also earning her pilot’s license.
We had barbecue sandwiches as part of the menu and this is the recipe I used. It was great!
I have a friend who showed me this way of fixing it, which was new to me.
The end result is very moist and tender barbecue pork, and it just couldn’t be easier to make!
I buy the boneless pork loin- the big long 7 to 8 lb. roast.
Cut it in half, and place in crock pot. Cover with water and cook on low all night long.
The next day, I poured out most of the water, but left probably a couple inches in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Pour a 28 oz. bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce over the pork. I use Sweet Baby Ray’s honey barbecue sauce.
Simmer on warm for a few hours
And that’s all there is to it… ready for Sunday lunch!
Serve on whole wheat rolls with homemade cole slaw. Delicious!

OOOoooh! I’ve always wanted to make pulled pork but never tried. My husband loves Sweet Baby Rays so we always have some on hand. Do you know if you can use a InstaPot for this recipe?
Jane,
Yes you can use the Instapot for it. It’s so quick that way!
